Meet the Staff

Dr. Tatiana Foroud

Dr. Tatiana Foroud is the principal investigator for the NCRAD study. She works closely with the NIH to ensure that the specific aims and goals of the NCRAD project are met. She is responsible for the oversight of the NCRAD study from the participation of families all the way to the use of samples by researchers. Dr. Foroud is the P. Michael Conneally Professor of Medical and Molecular Genetics and the Director of the Division of Hereditary Genomics at Indiana University.

Rose Case, BS, CCRP

Rose Case, BS, CCRP has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since February of 2016. Rose serves as a project manager of sample distributions for the department. She coordinates distributions of requested samples from the initial approval to the final sample shipment.

Madison Donoho, BS

Madison Donoho, BS, is new to the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics and to NCRAD. She graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a BS in Biology. Madison coordinates the transfer of closed studies to NCRAD for future distribution as well as preparing kits and data validation. She currently works closely with the ARTFL-LEFFTDS, 4RTNI-2, PSDC, and SAL-AD studies.

Kelley Faber, MS, CCRC

Kelley Faber, MS, CCRC has been with NCRAD since June 2006 and serves as the research manager for the repository. Kelley monitors clinical data and biological specimens for all studies banked in NCRAD. She also completes NIH reporting and works closely with the investigators requesting samples for their research.

Kelly Horner

Kelly Horner has been with NCRAD since 2002 and the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since 1990. Kelly serves as a research coordinator for the repository and her roles include autopsy planning, cognitive testing, sample accessioning and maintaining contact with NCRAD participants. She also organizes the newsletter.

Kaci Lacy, BS, CCRP

Kaci Lacy, BS, CCRP, has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since 2016. She graduated from Indiana University in 2013 with a BS in Biology and is currently pursuing an MPH in Epidemiology at IUPUI. Kaci’s duties include coordinating studies within NCRAD, data validation and reporting, and working directly with study sites in training and problem resolution. She works closely with the Alzheimer’s Disease Centers focusing on the ADCFB, BIFB, BioSTAC, and WRAP studies.

Emma Lagone, BS

Emma Lagone, BS, has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since November of 2017. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a BS in Business Administration. Emma serves as a research coordinator and her primary duties include data validation, coordinating studies with NCRAD, and sample requests. She currently focuses on ARTFL-LEFFTDS, 4RTNI-2, PSDC, and SAL-AD.

Jeanine Marshall, MPH, CCRC

Jeanine Marshall, MPH, CCRC, joined NCRAD in 2016, but has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since 2000. Jeanine serves as a research coordinator for the Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Project (iPSC) and the Amyloid Neuroimaging and Genetics Initiative Study (ANGI). Jeanine’s duties include activities to facilitate receipt and distribution of iPSCs, collaborating with investigators, data collection and reporting, regulatory documentation, and research participant communication.

Milena Petkov, BS, CCRP

Milena Petkov, BS, CCRP joined NCRAD in December 2017. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Biology. Her duties include coordinating studies within NCRAD, publication tracking, and sample requests. She currently focuses on the NCRAD family studies.

Zoë Potter, BA

Zoë Potter, BA, recently joined the NCRAD team in May of 2019, though she has worked with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since August of 2015 while working on her undergrad. She graduated from IUPUI in 2019 with a BA in Psychology. Zoë is a clinical research specialist whose primary duties include preparing kits, data entry, and data validation. She currently focuses on the T2, LOAD, NAPS, and DIAN studies.

Ariel Quickery, MS

Ariel Quickery, MS, is a recent addition to the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics, joining in January of 2019 as a Clinical Research Specialist. Ariel has a Master of Science in Medical Science from Indiana University School of Medicine. Her duties include coordinating studies within NCRAD, data input and validation, kit processing, autopsy planning, cognitive testing, and sample accessioning.

Jillian Ryan, BS

Jillian Ryan, BS, has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since August 2018. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Justice Studies and a BA in English. Jillian is a research specialist whose primary duties include accessioning new samples, preparing kits, data validation, and assisting with IRB submissions and other NCRAD organizational tasks.

Usha Sirimalle, MS, CCRP

Usha Sirimalle, MS, has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since 2018. She graduated from Wichita State University with a MS in Biology. Usha is a research specialist and her duties include sample accessioning, preparing sample kits, and data validation. She currently works closely with the ADC, ADCFB, BIOSTAC and WRAP Studies.

Kristi Wilmes, MS, CCRP

Kristi Wilmes, MS, CCRP, has been with the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics since 2015. Kristi has a Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration. Her duties include coordinating studies within NCRAD, data validation and working with study sites to ensure efficiency. She currently focuses on ADNI studies and the NiAD and ADDS studies.
