Duke Memory Clinic Biorepository
The Duke Memory Clinic Biorepository is a repository of blood and biomarker data from patients in the Duke Neurology Memory Disorders Clinic with normal cognition, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD). Samples collected are kept in a repository for future research by researchers from Duke and other investigators outside of Duke who are studying changes in memory and aging.
Study Participants
Subjects were recruited from the Duke University Neurology Memory Disorders Clinic. Enrolled subjects are those with normal cognition, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD).
Available Data
Along with the collection of blood, available data also includes demographics, education level, family history of dementia, medical history, parkinsonism, gait issues, hearing loss, MRI information, results of routine cognitive assessments/questionnaires, cognitive diagnoses, as well as medication information (presence of cognitive and/or psychiatric medications).
